About Us

Joel (Head Honcho…I think)

Who am I exactly??? I am still trying to figure out. But let’s start out with a few basics…

I am a native of Memphis, TN. Currently I live in Houston, TX and have been living in the Houston area for 6 years. I have a lot of varied interests, such as God, sports, family, music, cooking, writing, internet, etc. Some have called me a renaissance man.

I used to write for a sports blog called Your Mother Slept With Wilt Chamberlain, and instead of explaining why the blog was called that, just check it out. The head honcho over there, Thomas the Terrible, gave me my first taste of blogging. For that, I will always be eternally grateful. We had sooooooo much fun doing it. We made a few friends along the way, and even upset a whole fanbase once. Good times indeed…

This blog will me a mix of ideas. Current events, music, movies, sports, spiritual matters, whatever comes to mind. The possibilities are endless. The key is that I probably won’t update everyday. As a matter of fact, I won’t. The demands of being a Family Guy call. But the goal is to have several posts whenever I do. The only thing I ask of you, dear reader, is to respect my opinion and I will respect yours. If you want to get in touch with me, either leave a comment or e-mail me at boomer4568@gmail.com.

*Editor’s note: Thanks to someone who has taken pity on my writing soul, all of my sports writing can be found at MoonDogSports.com. Everything else can be found here…
